Barbara Ann Radnofsky IS Insane
In the August 24, 2006 issue of the Houston Chronicle, Columnist Rick Casey wrote an article about the Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate in Texas, Barbara Ann Radnofsky, under the highly-amusing title “Radnofsky is not insane.”

The title had me rolling on the floor laughing, because anybody who has followed her mega long-shot bid to unseat Kay Bailey Hutchison, has found themselves wondering on many occasions about her mental stability. After all, this is a relatively unknown liberal trial lawyer who had never been more than a precint chair and now, in a fit of Munchausen-like delusion has taken to calling herself “God’s Gift to the Senate.”
Casey obviously hasn’t been paying attention to this race. Or maybe, he just has a low standard of sanity to go by (Carole Keeton Strayhorn, perhaps). But if he just followed her antics, or read her 48-page unabomber-like Manifesto (available at http://www.radnofsky.com/press/issues/issue_chart.pdf ), perhaps Casey would come to a different conclusion.
And that’s why I decided to start this blog. A political junkie, I’ve found Radnofsky to be madder than a hatter, even by Texas standards. And though she’s 30 points down in most polls, the scary thing is that were she running for Governor, she’d be out-polling Chris Bell and giving Gov. Rick Perry an actual contest. In short, Barbara Ann Radnofsky, who I will show is clinically off her rocker, is the best-performing Democrat in the State of Texas. Wow! That’s what their party has come to.
Yes, I am a Hutchison supporter, but in truth, I’m more of a Cornyn guy, as he’s more conservative on a few key issues. He’s also been a big target of the media recently, and for that reason, he’s a bit down in the polls. Frankly, if Radnofsky were to have a decent showing, the media would annoint her the next savior of Democrats in Texas, like they did with Victor Morales, and she’d run against Cornyn or some other Republican. She might even run for Governor in 2010 against Kinky!
So I will do my part, however small, to nip this Radnofsky thing in the bud, and to have a little fun doing so. Everything I post on this blog will be the truth, with ample links so you can decide. As they say, the truth is stranger than fiction, and after reading this, you will come to agree with me that Barbara Ann Radnofsky IS insane.
